We are Republicans because...

We believe all Americans are endowed by God with an inalienable right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

We believe in a free marketplace, and that the freedom of all Americans to fulfill their talents and ambitions has provided the greatest prosperity of any nation in the history of the world.

We believe the best government is that which governs least; the proper function of government is to do for the people only those things they cannot perform themselves.

We believe stable economic growth is achieved by sound monetary policy and by spending every dollar necessary, but not a dollar more.

We believe in equal justice for all regardless of race, creed, religion, gender or color.

We believe America is safest from threats of foreign aggression when we have the strongest possible military, and when we actively confront - rather than passively appease - our aggressors.

We believe the fraternal bond of Americans is strongest when we celebrate our shared, uniquely American culture.

We believe that the traditional family is the cornerstone of our society.

We believe in personal responsibility, volunteerism, rugged individualism, civility, decency and morality.

Finally, we believe that only through the Republican Party can these ideals become active and successful principles of government.

What Democrats Believe …

Democrats believe that Government is the source of our rights, freedom, and prosperity.

Democrats believe it is Government’s job to solve for every person each of his problems.

Democrats believe that taxing Peter to pay for a welfare program for Paul is the ultimate form of charity.

Democrats believe we should discourage hard word and rugged individualism, and instead equalize everyone’s outcome in life, regardless of individual effort.

Democrats believe in moral relativism: “if it feels good, do it.” Democrats advocate for such policies as same-sex marriage, and partial birth abortion.

Democrats don’t believe in personal responsibility; no one’s own behavior is ever responsible for their own negative outcomes: someone else, or something else, is always to blame. There’s no problem or outcome for which a lawsuit can’t be filed.

Democrats see no need for America to have a strong military, or to actively confront her aggressors.
